Edison Geiler, a multimedia artist based in Lincoln, Nebraska, currently studies at the Johnny Carson School for Emerging Media Arts. His artistic focus spans both the visual and aural realms, with a dedicated commitment to exploring disability and challenging ableism. Edison's work aims to foster empathy and healing, amplifying overlooked perspectives while authentically representing the experiences of the disabled community. In doing so, he seeks to reshape cultural narratives, placing emphasis on resilience, beauty, and excellence.
Edison has demonstrated his creative prowess on projects like SickPicnic Media's narrative podcast, "Lonely Boy" A Novella in Sound and Color," as the lead audio director and designer, a videographer and editor for Nebraska Thespians, and a freelance video and audio editor. Currently, Edison is immersed in his role as the audio designer for an upcoming aural experience in collaboration with SickPicnic Media. Through his diverse contributions, Edison celebrates the inherent strength and uniqueness found in the full spectrum of human experiences.
